Chinese Catechism on Ten Commandments in German: book launch: Board member Prof. Dr You Bin, Professor at the Minzu University in Beijing and Director of its Academy of Religions, wrote a book on the understanding of the biblical ten commandments from a Chinese intercultural perspective. The German edition of the book is planned to be launched in Zurich on 30 August 2024.
Chinese Values: New Book of GAF Board member Liu Baocheng
GAF Board member Prof. Dr Liu Baocheng, Prof. Of Business Ethics at Beijing university UIBE wrote a profound 750 pages book on “Chinese Values: Conception and Praxis”. He shows in details the values through 3000 years of Chinese history through the dynasties and religions such as Taoism, Buddhism and Christianity, up to the current “Socialist Values with Chinese Characteristics”. A true guide for critical dialogue with and better understanding of China. The English version of the book will be launched on 4 September 2024 in Geneva

Make Science Work for Human Rights. During the Human Rights Council in Geneva, I co-moderated a side event at the UN in Geneva on Science for Human Rights: How can AI, Biotech and other technologies contribute to Human Rights such as the right to food, education, health, support of persons with disabilities etc. And how can Science and technology hinder and reduce the violation of Human Rights?
